Strictly viewers furious as they slam BBC show for huge change and say it's 'taken a step back'


Strictly was back with a bang on Saturday 14 September - but amid the praise for the brand-new series, some fans were left upset that the new line-up didn't feature any same-sex couples

It was heralded by many viewers as the best season yet - but when Strictly Come Dancing returned on Saturday 14 September with a dazzling, fun and colourful launch show, one change to proceedings had some fans seeing red. And one fresh pairing that seemed to stand out for many was Amy Dowden - who made her epic return to the show after an enforced absence as she underwent treatment for cancer, leaving viewers in tears- and JLS singer JB Goill.
