Strictly star reveals brutal sexist abuse that prompted facelift

Toyah Willcox underwent a facelift in the early 2000s after "feeling like a victim" as she watched her features begin to age - and says it has completely transformed her life

The 66 year old punk icon, who stunned fans with her youthful appearance on Strictly's launch show last week, first opted for cosmetic surgery in the early 2000s after feeling victimised by the ageing process. She sadly recalled how Jonathan Ross, on his Radio Two show, which boasts around eight million listeners, said she looked so awful she shouldn't be allowed on TV and suggested she do something about it.
