Strictly star Gorka Marquez faced a tough time in 2016, when he not only split from his fiancée Lauren Sheridan but was also brutally attacked in Blackpool on the same day
Striding towards a Blackpool nightclub, the Spanish dance maestro suffered an attack that left him minus two teeth, leaving fans and colleagues shocked at the savage, unprovoked incident as per police reports from the time. While recently appearing on Strictly: It Takes Two alongside his partner for this year’s competition, host Fleur East said: "Thiago is old enough to watch you on TV." Dr Punam chimed in to say Gemma might not be so impressed with his comments, which Gorka coyly said: "That's okay, I'm going to Glasgow," leaving the panel in hysterical laughter.
