The Mail on Sunday has said that the Italian star was confronted by the bosses of the Saturday night dance show this week and his contract was terminated. His reported exit has coincided with Strictly's announcement that their much-adored pro Aljaz Skorjanec had made a comeback to the show two years after he left.
