Strictly fears Amy Dowden 'could be forced to quit show' after being rushed to hospital


Strictly Come Dancing professional Amy Dowden was taken to hospital after collapsing backstage of the BBC show at the weekend and fears are growing she may have to leave the series

Strictly Come Dancing insiders are reportedly fearing that Amy Dowden might have to leave the show after she was rushed to hospital following her live performance with JB Gill this weekend. The 34 year old pro dancer and her JLS partner wowed with a score of 32 for their foxtrot to Dancing In The Moonlight by Toploader on Saturday night (26 October), earning praise from Anton Du Beke as a "super duper performance", while Craig Revel Horwood suggested JB could have delved deeper into his scarecrow role. Amy returned to Strictly Come Dancing for the first time since her cancer battle this year (Image: PA)Over the weekend, a rep from the East of England Ambulance Service also shared: "We were called just after 9pm on Saturday to attend a medical emergency at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood.
