Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks speaks out after judges' low scores in five-word statement


Pete Wicks has spoken out after receiving a low score for his first performance on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, with the TOWIE favourite being optimistic about the competition

The former TOWIE favourite made his debut on dance floor alongside professional dancer Jowita Przystal during the launch show on Saturday, 21 September. Pete and Jowita received 17 out of 40 from the judgesThe judges' critiques were also tough, with Shirley branding his performance "repetitive", while shushing boos from the audience, and Anton critical of his timing. Another fumed: "The judges were so much harsher to Pete then any other couple, hope the isn’t some unconscious bias as he is good mates with Zara."
