Strictly Come Dancing's latest celeb dancer revealed - just hours after they win Gold at Paris Olympics
Strictly Come Dancing has reportedly signed up a Team GB star for the 20th series of the show, and they are expected to start training upon return from Paris
“It’s quite a coup for the producers to bag an Olympian fresh from winning gold in Paris, and swimmers have been shown to be great contestants,” a source told The Sun. The news comes after professional dancer Graziano Di Prima was axed from the show following gross misconduct towards Zara McDermott during rehearsals, who is the girlfriend of Pete’s best friend, Sam Thompson. Other celebrities rumoured to join the 20th anniversary season include Nick Knowles, Hannah Waddingham, Pearl Mackie and former Coronation Street star Shobna Gulati.
