Fans of Strictly Come Dancing think that the show’s bosses are trying to get rid of one couple by putting them in the ‘death slot’ - the place in the running order where a pair is least likely to succeed

Fans of Strictly Come Dancing have taken to social media during this week’s live show, speculating that BBC bosses are plotting to get rid of one of the couples, because they were given the ‘death slot’ in the running order of the competition on Saturday 5 October. Toyah and Neil scored a total of 15 for their dance (Image: BBC)Toyah, who is best known for her pop hits ‘It’s a Mystery’ and ‘Brave New World’ in the 1980s, has previously spoken about the surgery she underwent at the age of 51 to correct the length of her legs and how she had to learn to walk again afterwards. Despite having battled a twisted spine and additional health issues, Toyah previously spoke of the life-altering surgery carried out in 2009, an operation the completely "reinvented" her.
