Strictly Come Dancing confirm huge pop star as fourth contestant for 2024 series

The fourth celebrity to join this year's Strictly Come Dancing line up was announced by Vernon Kay on Tuesday morning on his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show

Comedian Chris McCausland was the first name to be revealed on Monday 5 August, followed by former X Factor star JB Gill and opera singer Wyn Evans. Toyah is famous for her brightly coloured punkish hair in the 1980s and hit songs including It's A Mystery, Thunder in the Moutains and I Want To Be Free. "I think it would give my Achilles heel and damaged knees a run for their money," he laughed as he explained that, being so tall, he would "look like a puppet" if he ever took to the dance floor.
