Stranger Things co-creator Ross Duffer's wife Leigh Janiak files for divorce after nine years of marriage
On Friday, it was reported that his movie director wife, 44, filed for divorce from the showrunner, 40, after nearly a decade of marriage.
The former couple first met back in 2006 while working at a Los Angeles production company together with Janiak as a producer's assistant while Duffer was an intern. The twins also co-wrote and co-directed a 2015 horror mystery titled Hidden, which stars Alexander Skarsgård opposite Andrea Riseborough. Their separation comes shortly after the fifth and final season of Duffer's show Stranger Things began production after being delayed by the Hollywood strikes
