Sting, 72, attends Dune: Part Two premiere in chic overcoat with daughter Mickey Sumner 40 YEARS after he appeared in David Lynch's 1984 Dune film

Sting turned the New York City premiere of Dune: Part Two into a family affair on Sunday when he brought along his daughter Mickey Sumner.

It was a homecoming of sorts for Sting (born Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner), as he played the vicious Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen in David Lynch's previous 1984 film adaptation of Dune, which was released nearly 40 years ago. When he wasn't stripped down for brutal hand-to-hand combat scenes in that earlier cult classic, Sting was costumed in striking black jacket that were reminiscent of his stylish outfit on Sunday at Lincoln Center. Now that Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) has joined forces with the nomadic Fremen tribe, he will seek revenge against the Harkonnens, though Feyd-Rautha — the presumed heir to the family head — will have a battle to the death with him.
