Stevie Nicks shares her 'anger' at being prevented from singing to Fleetwood Mac star Christine McVie on her deathbed
The singer, 76, said that before Christine died two years ago aged 79, she wanted to fly over from America on a private jet to see her in hospital in Britain.
Christine died of a stroke in November 2022, aged 79, with Stevie revealing that her bandmate's death put the final nail in the coffin of their band. 'Unable to resist the obvious temptation, Dennis made love to Stevie Nicks just when he was supposed to be settling down with Christine,' friend Jon Stebbins is quoted as saying. 'To make matters even more insane, he began cutting a passionate swathe through the entire Fleetwood Mac extended family, leaving no female untouched.'
