Steven Spielberg Is Iitroducing a special airing of 'Jaws' on NBC this month, among other plans to mark the film's 50th anniversary.
Starting June 15, Peacock will also feature a row called “Trouble in the Water” that includes the “Jaws” films and others that felt right for this collection: “Piranha, “47 Meters Down,” “Night Swim” and “Captain Phillips.” That includes the new doc “Jaws @ 50: The Definitive Story,” directed by Laurent Bouzereau and from National Geographic in partnership with Spielberg’s Amblin Documentaries, Nedland Media and Wendy Benchley. “Universal is home to the biggest movies in the world and it doesn’t get any bigger than ‘Jaws,’” said Jenny Storms, chief marketing officer, NBCUniversal Television & Streaming.
