Steven Knight Says ‘Peaky Blinders’ Movie Cast Is “Mindblowing” As He Teases More Fresh Faces
Steven Knight teased fresh casting after Rebecca Ferguson and Barry Keoghan joined the 'Peaky Blinders' movie.
Plot details of the Harper-directed feature are being held close, but Knight has previously told Deadline that the story will be set during World War II. Ferguson most recently reprised her role as Lady Jessica in Denis Villeneuve’s $712M worldwide-grossing Dune: Part Two. Keoghan, who received a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination and won the BAFTA in that category for Martin McDonagh’s 2022 hit The Banshees of Inisherin, last year starred in Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn, for which he received BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations and spent time on the awards season trail with Murphy.
