Steve Kornacki Strikes New Deal With NBC News And Sports, Will Leave MSNBC Role As Spinoff Nears
MSNBC is being spun off from Comcast.
Kornacki, a popular presence on the network’s coverage of polling data and election results, will be winding down his role at MSNBC. Kornacki joined MSNBC in 2012, and became a national political correspondent at NBC News in 2017, maintaining roles at both networks. He drew widespread attention for his deep dive into data during the 2020 presidential election, as it took four days for networks to be able to project Joe Biden as the winner.
