Steve Irwin's son named as ambassador for Prince William's Earthshot Prize
Robert Irwin has been named as a global ambassador for the Earthshot Prize which was launched by the Duke of Cambridge and aims to 'repair' the planet
The conservationist heralded the Duke of Cambridge's visionary project as a "beacon of hope for all of us" saying its mission to honour and amplify efforts that help "repair" our ailing planet was something close to every eco-conscious heart. Joining the star-studded Earthshot Prize Council are the culinary maestro Jose Andres, esteemed environmentalist Wanjira Mathai, and the fiercely dedicated indigenous activist and writer Nemonte Nenquimo. This lineup comes alongside current members such as Prince William, environmental legend Sir David Attenborough, fashion icon Stella McCartney, the acclaimed actress Cate Blanchett, and Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan.
