Steve Carell Says Domhnall Gleeson Reached Out To Him To Ask About ‘The Office’: “He’s Great”
Before taking on a role in the new The Office spinoff, Domhnall Gleeson sought advice from Steve Carell.
Fallon brought up the subject of The Office asking Carell if he knew that a spinoff was in the works. Carell played Michael Scott, a regional manager for the Dunder Mifflin paper company. The streamer teased the show’s premise, saying, “The documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch is in search of a new subject when they discover a dying historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer reporters.”
