Steve Bannon Ordered To Report To Prison On July 1
The former Trump adviser was sentenced to four months in jail.
Bannon, a longtime ally of Donald Trump ‘s who served as his White House chief strategist, can still seek a stay of Judge Carl Nichols’ order, per the AP. Bannon now has a regular platform as podcast host, where he has said that Trump will seek retribution in his next term, particularly after the former president’s conviction in New York last week on felony charges. PREVIOUSLY: Steve Bannon’s conviction for failure to comply with a congressional subpoena was upheld by a three-judge federal appeals court today, raising the prospect that the podcaster and right-wing provocateur will have to serve a four-month sentence.
