Disney is throwing the full weight of its portfolio of platforms behind Sterling K. Brown and “This Is Us” creator Dan Fogelman ‘s new Hulu series “ Paradise ” by giving the political thriller a linear launch on ABC and FX, as well. The move is gamble that displays both the larger company’s faith in the project, as well as its desire to flex its ability to utilize its streaming services, broadcast network and cable channels in unison to get as many eyeballs on a splashy series as possible. “Paradise” stars Brown, Julianne Nicholson, James Marsden, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Aliyah Mastin and Percy Daggs IV.
