Stephen Mulhern returns to social media with an empowering New Year message - weeks after collapsing in a pizza restaurant while mourning the death of his father
The Deal Or No Deal presenter, who is mourning the death of his father Christopher, was rushed to hospital in November after falling ill over a meal.
An ambulance was called for Mulhern, who had reacted badly to an anesthetic he'd taken earlier in the day, after staff at a Berkshire branch of Pizza Express became concerned for him at around 8:00pm. Mulhern has been receiving continuous support from his team, ITV bosses and long-term friend and colleague Holly Willoughby, his co-host on the newly revived You Bet! He has credited his success to his parents saying: 'I don't mean to sound soppy, but they worked so incredibly hard to bring up me and my two brothers and sister.'
