Stephen King Praises Maine Gov. Janet Mills For “Standing Up To The Bully” Trump Over Trans Rights


As Stephen King makes his return to X during Trump 2.0, he's wasting no time in giving his opinion of the president's first 100 days.

Following his post calling Donald Trump “a traitorous, Putin-loving dip—,” the legendary horror author thanked his native Maine’s Governor Janet Mills after she told the president “we’ll see you in court” over withheld federal funding due to the state’s inclusion of transgender athletes. King previously made his return to the Elon Musk-owned social media platform on Thursday, immediately taking aim at Trump. Following Trump’s re-election in November, King announced he was “ leaving Twitter,” adding: “Tried to stay, but the atmosphere has just become too toxic.
