Stephen Curry’s Unanimous Media Teams Up With Comcast on Underdog Cheer Team Docuseries ‘Spirit’ (EXCLUSIVE)
Steph Curry's Unanimous Media is teaming with Comcast on the four-part docuseries "Spirit," premiering Feb. 27 on Comcast's Black Experience.
Curry and Erick Peyton are executive producing “ Spirit ” with their multimedia company, Unanimous Media, in partnership with The WorkShop Content Studios and FreshFly. Along with the series announcement, Unanimous Media has released an official trailer, showcasing the cheer team as they carve out a new story for themselves. “‘Spirit’ is a coming-of-age story about a group of young athletes beating the odds and showing how a sport can transform an individual, a team and a school,” Curry and Peyton said in a joint statement.“Throughout the series, we follow their journey as we see how competitive cheerleading gives these kids a sense of purpose and possibility.
