Jim Beard, the touring keyboardist for Steely Dan for the past 16 years, has died at the age of 63. He passed away Saturday, 2 March “from complications due to a sudden illness”, Deadline reports. As an accomplished musician, Jim published over 100 compositions and his work spanned across books, orchestras, films and TV shows.
