Blues captain Jake Trbojevic has become a meme on social media following his reaction to a 'hipster' version of the national anthem.
Ahead of Game One of 2024's State of Origin, Australian Idol winner Dylan Wright delivered a stripped-down rendition of Advance Australia Fair to a packed house at Accor Stadium in Sydney. As the camera panned across the NSW and Queensland teams, Trbojevic, 30, appeared to be quite unimpressed with Wright's interpretation of the anthem written by Scottish-born Australian composer Peter Dodds.
