‘Saturday Night Live’ has a rich history of parodying real people, and stars from Jennifer Aniston to Donald Trump have reacted to being impersonated
When discussing SNL parodies with Britt during a March 2024 episode of his podcast, Cruz praised Aidy Bryant ’s portrayal of him in a sketch about his trip to Cancun while his home state of Texas faced a severe winter storm. The former president, who has been parodied by several SNL stars including Alec Baldwin, Darrell Hammond, Jason Sudeikis and Phil Hartman, was not a fan of one of James Austin Johnson ’s impressions of him. After Chloe Fineman poked fun at Boebert’s pro-gun views and opposition to COVID-19 mask and vaccine mandates during a December 2021 sketch, the Colorado congresswoman slammed the performance in a tweet.
