Star Wars actress Kelly Marie Tran has come out as queer, after opening up about her sexuality for the first time while promoting her new movie The Wedding Banquet

The 35 year old star, known for her role as Rose Tico in The Last Jedi, opened up about her sexuality during a chat about her new film The Wedding Banquet, where she portrays a lesbian character. Kelly also touched upon her voice role in Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon, suggesting her character in the animation is queer and expressing her eagerness for a sequel that explores this aspect.
