James Darren, the much-loved actor known for his roles in Gidget and TV shows like T. J. Hooker and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, has sadly passed away at the age of 88. His son, Jim Moret, confirmed to TMZ that the star died peacefully in his sleep at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, California. During his TV career, he played Jim Corrigan on the 1980s police drama T.J. Hooker, appearing in 66 episodes over four seasons alongside star William Shatner, reports the Mirror.
