Star died after ‘medical emergency’ at shopping centre
Tito Jackson, a founding member of legendary Motown act The Jackson 5 and the brother of the late superstar Michael Jackson, passed away recently in New Mexico aged 70
His devastated children – Taj, 41, Taryll, 39, and TJ, 46, who found fame themselves in the band 3T – paid tribute on social media. They wrote: ‘”It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson is no longer with us. The Jackson 5 were first formed in 1964, and after entering talent competitions the band grew and ended up at the Apollo Theatre in New York, where they won a Motown recording contract.
