Stanley Tucci weighs in on possibility that he'll return for Devil Wears Prada sequel

Stanley Tucci would be 'happy' to return to his role as Nigel Kipling in a sequel to the Devil Wears Prada. 'If it does happen, I can only say that I'll be happy,' he said about the reported sequel.

The sequel's story will follow Streep's Miranda Priestley and her career in the present day as traditional magazine publishing is on the decline and she must find her footing in an increasingly digital industry and world. Word has it that Streep, Blunt, and screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna, who adapted the original 2006 film from the 2003 novel of the same name by Lauren Weisberger, are all on board for the sequel, per Variety. The Devil Wears Prada 2 doesn't have release date or a confirmed cast at this point, but the 2006 film that inspired it is available to stream on Prime Video, Hulu and Max.
