Stacy Wakefield, Late Red Sox Pitcher Tim Wakefield's Wife, Dead at 53

The couple died within months of each other.

"It is with deep sadness that we share that our beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece, and aunt, Stacy, passed away today at her home in Massachusetts. Tim was a celebrated former knuckleballer who spent 29 years with the Red Sox as a player -- winning World Series titles with the team in 2004 and 2007.
