Spotify was sputtering Sunday morning, with thousands of users reporting technical problems accessing the streaming service. User error reports for Spotify began spiking around 10:45 ET a.m. on Sept. 29, reaching more than 9,000 complaints by 11 a.m., according to uptime monitoring service Downdetector. In Spotify’s desktop app, users were greeted with the error message, “Something went wrong.” The streamer’s smartphone apps were unresponsive as well.
