Spice Girls Celebrate Never Ending Friendship With 30th Anniversary Audition Throwback

Spice Girls are celebrating their 30th anniversary with footage from their 1994 debut auditions.

Timed to the celebration of their 30th anniversary, the group shared old archival footage from the audition process alongside a message to their fans. Their debut single “Wannabe” arrived in 1996 and the years that followed was the release of three hit albums and their 1997 film Spice World. Back in 1997, when they would often recall the story of their formation in interviews and in their self-made Spice magazine, the group couldn’t quite get their dates right.
