Spain’s Moira Pictures Nabs International Sales Rights to Iberseries Project ‘How Grinch and Mrs. Claus Bloodied Xtmas’ (EXCLUSIVE)
Showrun by Chile’s Gabi Cortés and Spain’s Andrea Meneses,‘Moira’ is set up at La Villana, produced with Spain's ATM and Argentina's Flixxo.
Madrid-based Moira Pictures has picked up international sales rights to Spanish-Argentine experimental comedy series “Cómo Grinch y La Sra. In development, the series, with Chile’s Gabi Cortés and Spain’s Andrea Meneses serving as showrunners, is produced by Spanish outfits La Villana and ATM Producciones alongside Argentinian platform Flixxo. “Inspired by a true story that we need to tell,” according to La Villana’s Cortés and Meneses, black comedy series project “How Grinchi and Mrs. Claus Bloodied Xtmas” turns around “a little girl who was abused by a man older than her, a woman who decides to confront her past and her silence.”
