Sophie Turner’s CW Drama ‘Joan’ Moves To New Night After One Week


After premiering Wendesday on The CW, the true crime drama 'Joan' has moved to Fridays at 9pm ET.

After premiering this Wednesday in the US, The CW has moved the Anna Symon-created true crime drama Joan to Fridays at 9pm ET starting Oct. 11, switching time slots with Inside the NFL. The six-part limited series stars Turner as Joan ‘The Godmother’ Hannington, a devoted mother trapped in a violent relationship who seizes the opportunity to create a new life for herself and her daughter when her husband goes on the run. Joan also stars Frank Dillane, Kirsty J Curtis, Gershwyn Eustache Jnr, Laura Aikman, Nick Blood, Jack Greenlees, Alex Blake, Caroline Faber and Dorothy Atkinson.
