Sophia Bush was at home sleeping when burglar broke into her LA home ... and made off with $36 book
The 42-year-old actress was sleeping in the home at the time the crime was committed last week, according to police sources.
The Pasadena, California native - who was pictured Sunday in Paris with her partner, pro soccer player Ashlyn Harris, 39 - had bought the book as a gift to give someone over the holidays, sources told the outlet. Bush, who appeared on the TV series One Tree Hill, was apprised of the crime after an associate who works for her noticed that her garage door had been left open. Krieger, who shares daughter Sloane and son Ocean with Harris, told Self Magazine earlier this year that she had been caught off-guard by the divorce filing.
