Sony’s RCA Records Greater China Signs Five-Album Deal With Hip Hop Collective Iris Chengdu


Sony's RCA Records partners with Iris Chengdu to release five albums from Chinese hip-hop artists including Vinida Weng and Harakiri.

The partnership will launch five albums over the next 12 months, showcasing Iris Chengdu’s roster of artists including Vinida Weng, Haysen Cheng, Miles, Swag Kelly, and Harakiri himself. “Chinese hip hop is more than just a rapidly growing genre – it is a rising cultural movement that has the potential to redefine the global music landscape,” said Doyen Chung, managing director of RCA Records Greater China. “Through this unique partnership, we aim to unlock new dimensions in creativity, connecting our artists’ voices with more fans to showcase the power of Chinese hip hop music to audiences worldwide.”
