Sony, Playstation Productions announces live-action Helldivers and Horizon Zero Dawn movies are in development
Helldivers and Horizon Zero Dawn live-action movies are on the way, Sony revealed at their 2025 CES press conference in Las Vegas on Monday.
The Arrowhead Studios-developed sees players join the elite team of the Helldivers, supersoldiers who wear highly-advanced combat armor, drop down onto alien planets to complete missions and take on hordes of oversized insects and robots with an array of futuristic weaponry. “Just imagine, Aloy’s beloved origin story set in a vibrant, far-future world filled with the giant machines, brought to you for the first time on the big screen.” Horizon Zero Dawn sees players take on the role of Aloy, a post-apocalyptic tribal hunter who must test her wits and survival skills in an open-world adventure against a multitude of robotic animals.
