Sony Reportedly Splits With ‘Spider-Verse’ Helmers Following ‘Spider-Man Noir’ Dispute


Is Sony’s Spider-Man universe for TV sinking? The studio has reportedly split with Spider-Verse producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller over budget disputes.

A few years back, it was revealed that Spider-Verse writers and producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller would bring the webhead to the small screen, with the first projects announced being focused on Silk and Spider-Man Noir. While Spider-Man Noir seems to be enjoying a sizeable budget in getting Nicolas Cage to star in the series, it seems Sony isn’t ready to clear their coffers for Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
