Sony Pictures Television has hired Disney TV exec Jennifer Rogers Doyle for the newly created position of executive vice president of franchise management. During her 20 years at Disney, Rogers Doyle worked on preschool franchises including “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,” “Spidey and his Amazing Friends,” “Sofia the First,” “Doc McStuffins” and “Super Kitties,” as well as tween hits “Hannah Montana,” “High School Musical,” “Descendants” and “Zombies.” In the older demographic, she has overseen “Percy Jackson,” “Aliens,” “Golden Girls,” “The Bear,” “Family Guy,” and “Futurama.” I am excited to partner with Katherine and the Sony team to create new ways to extend the great storytelling beyond the screen through products, experiences, music, and social activations that deepen fan loyalty and brand value.”
