Sony Pictures Classics Acquires Rebecca Zlotowski’s Jodie Foster Murder Mystery ‘Vie Privée’
Foster, who speaks fluent French, is joined in the cast by Auteuil ( Farewell, Mr Haffman) and Efira ( Other People’s Children), Mathieu Amalric ( Serpent’s Path), Vincent Lacoste ( Lost Illusions) and Luana Bajrami ( Portrait of a Lady On Fire). Zlotowski’s previous credits include 2023 Venice Golden Lion contender Other People’s Children, An Easy Girl, Planetarium, Grand Central and Dear Prudence. Foster, who has strong ties with France, has appeared in a handful of French Productions across her career, but Vie Privée marks her first French-language role in two decades after Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s wartime romance A Very Long Engagement in 2005.
