EXCLUSIVE: Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions has acquired Latin America, France, Scandinavia, and a string of other international territories on Gia Coppola’s The Last Showgirl, starring Pamela Anderson. Set amid the the glittering world of Las Vegas entertainment, the Toronto Film Festival debut is told through the eyes of Shelley (Anderson), a glamorous showgirl who must plan for her future when her show abruptly closes after a 30-year run. Pic co-stars Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis ( Everything Everywhere All at Once) as Shelley’s best friend, Dave Bautista ( Guardians of the Galaxy), Brenda Song ( Love), Kiernan Shipka ( Longleg) and Billie Lourd ( Booksmart).
