Sony Music Promotes Christoph Behm to CEO of Germany, Switzerland and Austria
Sony Music named Christoph Behm CEO of Germany, Switzerland and Austria, replacing Patrick Mushatsi-Kareba, who is exiting at the end of August.
“He has worked closely with our artists to bring their music to new fans in innovative ways and has embraced continuous industry change to create opportunity despite rapidly shifting paradigms and business models.” Prior to that, Mushatsi-Kareba spent eight years at Apple, where he was responsible for overseeing the tech company’s music business in multiple European markets, including Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. Prior to his promotion to CEO, Behm held the role of senior vp of Sony Music GSA’s commercial division, where he oversaw a large team, including the company’s family entertainment business.
