Sony Lands International Rights To A24 Horror ‘Bring Her Back’, The Next Film From ‘Talk To Me’ Directors Danny & Michael Philippou
Currently in post, the original horror stars Billy Barratt, Sora Wong, Jonah Wren Phillips and two-time Oscar nominee Sally Hawkins.
Pic is produced by Talk To Me duo Samantha Jennings and Kristina Ceyton from Causeway Films, whose credits also include The Babadook and The Nightingale. Australian filmmaking brothers Danny and Michael Philippou burst onto the scene with Talk to Me, which played in the Midnight Selections at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. In that movie, a group of young friends discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand and they become hooked on the new thrill until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.
