Sonequa Martin-Green Reflects on Being Cast in ‘Blue Bloods’ Offshoot ‘Boston Blue’ With Donnie Wahlberg
Sonequa Martin-Green reflected on being cast in Boston Blue alongside Blue Bloods veteran Donnie Wahlberg ahead of the upcoming offshoot.
Donnie, 55, chimed in to say that his colleague has been a part of “a couple of legacies,” referencing her past work on The Walking Dead and Star Trek: Discovery. The New Girl alum went on to say that she and Donnie became fast friends after signing on to do Boston Blue together. “ Blue Bloods was so good and we love the Reagans so much and for good reason and hopefully we’ll love this new family that we get to meet through Danny’s eyes and through his perspective and I hope that the legacy continues and I’m so grateful.”
