Solange Knowles' son Julez Smith made his Met Gala debut on Monday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Julez — who recently made his runway debut with Beyonce in the audience cheering him on — was dressed in Luar, wearing a dapper black jacket and matching pants that were styled as a half skirt. His debut came on the 10-year anniversary of his mom's infamous elevator brawl with her brother-in-law, when she was pictured hitting and kicking the hip hop mogul in Beyonce's presence at a Met Gala afterparty in 2014. Though Beyonce and Jay-Z have gone through challenges, as conveyed on her 20l6 album Lemonade where she hints at her husband cheating, their union continues to remain strong, after they recently celebrated 16 years of marriage last month; seen in 2015
