Solange Knowles Opens Up About 'Debilitating' Health Diagnoses: 'I Feel Really Grateful'

Solange Knowles opened up about being diagnosed with multiple 'debilitating' medical conditions in 2018 in a candid Instagram post.

The singer, 38, this week revealed she'd received multiple diagnoses in 2018 as she commented on an Instagram post from her fellow musician Shaun Ross, 33, in which he spoke candidly about his journey with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) as a result of long COVID. Per the Mayo Clinic, POTS "affects the autonomic nervous system, which controls involuntary body functions such as heart rate and blood pressure." In November 2017, Knowles also canceled her performance at Florida State University's Homecoming concert due to "a medical condition," a statement shared by WTXL confirmed at the time.
