Sofia Vergara Was ‘Confused’ by Improv Scenes on ‘Modern Family’ Set, Costar Adam Devine Says
Sofia Vergara doesn't need a script to entertain fans. However, the Emmy-nominated actor got ‘confused’ when a former Modern Family costar improved a scene.
Adam Devine reflected on joining the Modern Family cast during season 5 and revealed that he “confused” her when he improvised lines during a shared scene. After the director cut the scene, Adam claimed that Steve approached him and retracted his support of adding improv to the show and told him to “stick to the script.” In addition to still being a judge on the NBC reality talent competition, Sofia landed the role as former Colombian queenpin Griselda in the 2024 Netflix series.
