Sofia Vergara Lost Golden Globe to Jodie Foster and Jokingly Yelled at Her: ‘Give Me One!’

After Sofia Vergara lost the Golden Globe to Jodie Foster for 'True Detective: Night Country,' Vergara jokingly yelled at her, 'Give me one!'

While Sofia Vergara lost the Golden Globe for best actress in a limited series or motion picture made for television to Jodie Foster for “ True Detective: Night Country,” she took the news lightly with a few laughs. She was previously nominated four times as a supporting actress in “Modern Family.” Meanwhile, Foster’s win for “True Detective: Night Country” marks her fifth overall win during her career, having previously been awarded for “The Accused,” “The Silence of the Lambs” and “The Mauritanian,” including the Cecil B. DeMille Award in 2013. Foster may have prevailed over Vergara, but she also won over Cate Blanchett for “Disclaimer,” Cristin Milioti for “The Penguin,” Naomi Watts for “Feud Capote vs. the Swans” and Kate Winslet for “The Regime” in the category.
