Sofia Vergara Letting ‘Setbacks Get to Her’ After ‘Griselda’ Emmy Snub: A ‘Dark Cloud’ Haunting Her
A source exclusively tells Closer that Sofia Vergara is done 'getting her hopes up' for success after her 'Griselda' Emmy snub earlier this year.
On paper, Sofía Vergara had a banner year in 2024 thanks to her sizable Netflix hit Griselda and her prominent voice role in the box office smash Despicable Me 4, along with numerous still-growing ongoing business ventures, but a source who has known the star for years exclusively tells Closer that she’s feeling under appreciated and at a loss how to move forward to become a bona fide A-lister in the cutthroat world of Hollywood. Losing out on an award can hurt, but the lingering disappointment began to affect other parts of the actress’ life as her self confidence took a hit.
