On Friday, May 24th, Sofia Richie shared on Instagram that she and her husband, Elliot Grainge, welcomed their daughter Eloise Samantha. The middle name is a tribute to Grainge's late mother Samantha Berg.

"Eloise Samantha Grainge 🤍 5•20•24 best day of my life 🤍," Richie captioned the sweet black-and-white photo of her daughter's feet. The name honors Grainge's late mother, Samantha Berg, who suffered complications during childbirth, which led to a coma that she remained in until she died in 2007. The news of Richie's daughter's birth comes only a few weeks after she after she shared snaps of her baby bump on May 6, counting down the final days of pregnancy.
